Narrative Presentation
Today we had to present our ideas for our narrative to Deborah and Andy. Unfortunately Neil and Kamal didn't turn up (for whatever reason!), so it was down to Me, Sophie and Aaron to pitch the idea. Overall, we received fairly positive feedback about the idea, however there was some negative. The main point, which I completely agreed with, was that the target audience was wrong. Because there is a love scene and a suggested death at the end, it shouldn't really be aimed at children 5-15 years old. Also because we have decided to film it in film noir, we have increased the target audience to 16-24. We can therefore get feedback from the other students who fit in the target category once they watch the narrative at the cinema.
Other criticisms were mainly about the actual presentation. Some slides contained too much information. We also shown how we were going to create the film noir style but we used a picture of a flower to show how it would be done. Andy suggested that we should have used a picture of the actual shoes.
