Using Adobe Premire

To upload my video on to YouTube, I had to export the video from the mini DV tape to the computer. To do this i attached the mini DV camera to the computer via the firewire, and i exported it into Adobe Premire 6.5. I have never used this software before, but i have used programes such as 'windows movie maker' and 'Arc soft Showbiz' which is fairly simular as they both use timelines. I thought the process was fairly simple and straight forward. I was only using very basic functions, and the video needed very little editing. once i had exported the video into Premire, i saved the video as an 'AVI' file onto the hard drive and then uploaded it onto YouTube
